Technicians

 

Casey grew up in Castle Rock and graduated from CSU with a B.S. in Biology. She started volunteering for Dr Melanie in high school and worked her school breaks at the clinic.  After graduating from CSU in 2005 she came to work for Cherished Companions full time as a veterinary technician. Casey is here with her little schnauzer, Toby.

 

Holly is a Colorado native (born & raised in Castle Rock) & has been in the veterinary field since the age of 17. While attending Bel-Rea she worked at Cherished Companions only to later join the team as a full time technician in 2005. She is a certified veterinary technician & graduate of Bel-Rea Institute, holding an Associates degree in applied sciences, as well as certification in animal CPR. She owns 5 feline friends all of them rescued (pictured is 3 legged Mello-Yellow), and 1 dog (Tonka a black lab). Holly also had her first baby in August 2010.  She is passionate for all of her patients and enjoys lab work, anesthesia, performing dental prophys & continuing her education any chance that she gets.

Liz, CVT:

 

Liz moved to Colorado from Texas to continue her veterinary technician career. After working for 4 years in Texas at an emergency hospital she attended Bel-Rea and is a Certified Veterinary Technician with an Associates Degree in Applied Science. She has been working in Colorado and made it her home for 9 years. She has a passion for anesthesia, excellent patient care, and enjoys sharing new ideas to help improve client education and hospital efficiency. She has a Chihuahua (Lacey) and a Basset Hound (Wish) as well as 3 cats (Max, Popcorn, and BB)

Leticia:

 

Leticia and her two daughters moved from Alabama to Colorado in 2003.  She has been in the veterinary field since 1990, which encouraged her to go back to school to be a veterinary technician.  She graduated from Snead State College Veterinary Technology Program in 2000.  Leticia has

5 dogs (Sky, Ruben, Mia, Abby and Kiko).    

 

Wendy, CVT:

 

Wendy graduated from Bel-Rea in September 2010.  She is a huge Jayhawks fan but we don't know why since she has never lived in Kansas other than for 2 months after she was born.  Indoctrination must start early in the state of Kansas.

 

 

 

 

Christin grew up in a military family and went to school at the University of New Hampshire. She graduated in 2009 with a Bachelors of Animal Science and is now going to CSU to obtain her Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine. She owns two black cats that she adopted the beginning of her freshman year of college. These two affectionate companions helped get her through college and solidified her plans to continue onto veterinary school. Christin has recently started expanding her animal experience and is now the proud owner of an alpaca with the hopes of slowly expanding her herd.
